Our teachers
This is our lovely Rita. Humoresque "optimists" costume really suits her! We can hear her laughter from very far away in the village. She teaches us tone and speech eurythmy with light steps and cheery smiles. She has the 'eye' for things, and we always trust her seeing. She also has a fantastic talent to create exercises we exactly need. Very very helpful. Now alongside of her teaching, she is busy with her therapeutic training. She is the organizer and guardian of the costume cupboard.
This is our great master, Evamaria. She is our drive and music! It is so shame that we don't have much photograph of her, we will try to search for some more. This picture is taken when all the special needs performed fairy tale on one of the advent Sunday. It is her village class, and happens every year. Her effort and power to make things happen is just amazing. She has just gone to to work and give therapy to the children in Camphill in South Africa for a term. This also happens every year. She gives tone eurythmy therapy to the people.
And this is our Jonathan, our multi-talented teacher. He also sings very beautifully. Well, if we tell you some more, he is the lead singer in the teenage rock band and he plays guitar, base, drums, fantastic speech formater....... What can we say some more? Eurythmy? He is fantastic!
Very calm gentle and grounded man, he is. And his teaching also goes so calm and deep in us.
This is our lovely Timothy! He teaches us speech formation and he is our great speaker. He always make us laugh with his silly jokes, poems and songs. He also lead artistic speech and choir for special needs in Botton. Their performances are so fantastic we usually can't take it without tears in our eyes. (serious one, not out of laughter....except several occations) Very impressive.
We then have Bonnie, the beautiful pianist. She is a soul mate of Evamaria and they are like the sisters. Her piano play is so pure and selfless we are so lucky to indulge ourselves in her music in the lessons. She has also gone to South Africa with Evamaria, and will play lyre and recorder for the therapy there. She is also a eurythmist. They took a lots of costume with them and they will show children eurythmy performance. She said they are all enchanted by it, they never seen such a thing, colour, movement, music and poems. We are all proud of their work. We are looking forward to hearing some news from Bonnie in Africa. Photos? I promise I will find it.
